Knightley was chosen to play Queen Amidala's decoy in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace because of her close resemblance to Natalie Portman, who played the Queen. Many people (including their mothers) had trouble telling them apart during the filming of The Phantom Menace.

I totally agree; I find Keira's features technically more "perfect", but find Natalie much more attractive, charming, charismatic and sexy. Doesn't hurt that she happens to be a more talented/convincing actress.
Yes they look alike, about 85-95%. What's more shocking is Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester. You'd swear they were sisters, about 85-95% as well. Where are these clones coming from? Also look at Olivia Wilde and Megan Fox in certain pics. Not too similar but I give it 80ish-90% with makeup and hair.
